Diji Joshua
A former international affairs and national security professional, Diji brings government expertise to Slateford to help clients navigate complex legal and business risks threatening their freedom to operate.
Diji began his career at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), undertaking roles within the China Department, where he helped shape government policy, and as an External Communications Officer, where he was involved in reactive crisis management as well as proactive initiatives to shape public perception of the FCDO.
Diji’s experience identifying political, reputational, and operational risks helped him understand how false and misleading information in the public sphere can draw unwarranted political and legal intrusion, whilst also providing an understanding of what may raise red flags on government databases.
This experience gave Diji unique insights into reputation management work and brings a unique understanding into due diligence work which is critical for investigations, disputes, and overall peace of mind, as well as in assisting those who have fallen foul of compliance databases.
