Katja Da Luz

Katja joins us after recently graduating from the University of Edinburgh with an LLB Honours degree and intends to qualify via the SQE.

Reputation law was a specific area of academic interest for Katja during her study and has continued to develop a deep understanding of the legal aspects surrounding the media. In her final year at University, her dissertation titled ‘Crowdfunding: a dangerous trend within public litigation’ allowed her to engage with how public and media law interact and how contentious disputes can get. She has a particular interest in the impact of misinformation and disinformation and is seeking to further the academic debate in this area to better advise clients of these risks.
